Heidi Bryant is a 'self-published' children's author who has written four books under the Catnap Stories® brand; entitled 'The Adventures of Vince the Cat'. She has also translated and published a number of books for authors in Europe and the United States.
In 2021, Heidi became the Conservative Party Councillor in Boxley for Maidstone Borough Council and her priorities include:
- TACKLE ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR - Continue to support residents working in conjunction with Kent Police to prevent antisocial behaviour.
- OPPOSE INAPPROPRIATE DEVELOPMENT - Continue to stand up for local residents against over development of our countryside.
- IMPROVE INFRASTRUCTURE - Work alongside other parish councillors to hold the council to account to improve infrastructure.
- SUPPORT COMMUNITY GROUPS - Continue to support the various community, leisure and arts initiatives within the borough.
Heidi is a highly experienced Marketing Director, having worked in this profession since 1994 mostly within the financial services industry. She has held senior positions at HSBC, BlackRock, Merrill Lynch and Barclays. Her career has taken her all over the world and she speaks French, German, Spanish and a little Italian.
